DISILLUSION
Smash the mirrors and
let the masks crumble to the floor
such glass and porcelain decorations
don’t serve you anymore.
It is okay to break
It is okay to shatter and shed.
A soul is stirred out of its stiffness
and undressed by naked love.
The universe of cascading colours
dissolves all outworn walls
only to reveal the dazzling of a truth
that exists underneath them all.
