HEAL
Salty seas, salty baths, salty tears.
Lay down in the purifying waters
where past hurts melt away,
gently dissolving all your fears.
Rise, rise into the light
like blind eyes
suddenly struck by sight.
“With new eyes I can see
that everyone is my friend, maybe
struggling too, with their own dark night.
Now I look with love instead of narrow fright.
Now I am here with the sun in my hair,
the wind on my skin and
a new song to sing.
I close my eyes and I can feel
the ancient feeling
the truth of connection
all the invisible chords between us,
and I see what I never saw before
that we belong to each other.”
