WOUND
A wound cannot heal when it is constantly being reopened.
With the decision to put down the blade and
to make no more unnecessary incision
we can begin to make love scars out of our wounds.
They form like calligraphy on our skin and
honour the history of everywhere we've been.
They are the proof of our resilience to let go,
again and again.
